Daniel F. Oriesek is consultant, board member and author.
Before he led the Swiss office for A.T. Kearney, where he consulted national and international clients on a variety of topics, including business wargaming.

Prior to his role at A.T. Kearney, Daniel worked for Booz Allen Hamilton, where he was also a member of the firm’s global commercial wargaming team. Before joining Booz, Daniel worked for UBS AG in Zürich and New York, where he had a variety of roles in private banking and asset management.

To this date, Daniel is an active officer in the Swiss Armed forces Joint Staff, where he frequently works on the design and execution of different staff and unit exercises. As of January 2013, Daniel will take over command of a battalion of Special Operation Forces.

Daniel received his B.S. in business administration from City University in Zürich, his M.B.A. from the Stern School of Business at New York University and his Ph. D. from Southern California University for Professional Studies. He is also a graduate of  the Advanced  Management Program at Harvard Business School.

Jan Oliver Schwarz is a strategy consultant at a worldwide operating insurance company, focusing in his work on strategic foresight. Prior to his role he has been working on business wargaming as a contractor for international consulting firms.

Jan has obtained his Ph. D. in strategic foresight at the Berlin University of Arts, Germany, and has published numerous articles on strategic foresight and applies business wargaming when teaching master level students across Europe.

Jan holds a M.A. in General Management (Dipl. Oec.) from the University of Witten/Herdecke, Germany, and an MPhil in Futures Studies from the Graduate School of Business, University of Stellenbosch, South Africa.
